so im intrested in going with the "agressive" wheel look on my 04 sti but everyone ive talked to says the biggest wheel that will fit on the sti is 8" wide. is there a wheel or a specific offset i can get tha will allow me to utilize a 9" whde wheel without having to worry about rubbing or fender rolling...preferable im interested in the Rota G-forces in 17x.8.5 or 17x9.

My bro has some 18x8.5 DPT's, +48, with 235/40/18 Dunlops without any fender work. After the setup, he can clearly tuck in some 245/40/18's. His suspension consists of Ground Control coilover sleeves over stock struts. Front and rear lower camber bolts. Good luck.

I really doubt you're going to be able to do a 17x9, and a correct size tire, and get it to fit without any fender rolling. You can probably get away with just a rear fender rool with something like a 17x9 +45 and a 245/40-17. I wouldn't go any thinner than a 245 on a 17x9.

on the 04 STI you need to roll your fenders.

x9 is very tight. Depends on your camber and spring diameter too. If in doubt, roll.
