Default 2009 STi Problems - build dates

I'm in the market for 09Sti and wanted to know which build dates to look out for. I read about something on here and now I cant find it via numerous searches.

Thanks in advance

You need not concern yourself with build dates as there are none to worry about. What happened here was several people had similar car problems and they banded together and determined that they had problems and shot Kennedy at the same time....nothing more.

nothing you need to worry about 09 sti. Just 09 wrx w/ build date before August 2008 I believe.

There were problems with the 08 STI's, and they even had a stop sale for them.

It wasnt a real stop sale they just needed time to test the current inventory for motor damage by checking the motor oil a ecu recall reflash was issued to all exsisting 08 Sti made.
