Post Hydroformed Subframe Swap?

I was looking under a new WRX the other day and saw the Hydroformed Subframe (HS) Pictured here:
In the Slide
Does anybody think it would be possible/worth it to retro fit this to the older body style? From what I saw it looks like the HS adds to front suspension rigidity dramatically. What do you guys think? I would especially like to hear from people who own both.

I know what you're talking about, but I doubt this new subframe would fit without some significant work. The dimensions of the car have changed, including its width.

If you really want to stiffen up the car, get a roll cage. As a side benefit, you'll be really safe inside too. I've been inside rollcage-equipped Imprezas and it makes a huge difference.
