Default Wheel fitment help ASAP!

I want to get these HRE wheels from someone and I'm on my way to Seattle from Portland as we speak to try them on but don't know if they will for sure fit so any help that would save me a trip up there would be sick.

They are currently on an Acura RSX. Does anyone know if the center bore is the same? I'm buying them from a guy that doesn't know the exact specs of the wheel sizes. He said they are 18x8 or 18x8.5 with 5x114.3 lug pattern.

I'm hoping they clear brembos. Anyone ever try rims off and Acura or Honda? Oh yeah, I'm trying to fit these on a 05 STI

Thanks NWIC

You are going to need specific info to tell if they fit. The exact wheel width and offset would help you.

The only way to know is with all the specs. Even the correct model number and/or pics would help. HRE's are pretty expensive, rare wheels, so you're not going to find many people, if any, that have run them on an STI. Unfortunately, you're going to just have to try first. One other bit of advice...I'd be leary buying wheels from someone that doesn't even know the specs.

So i found out they are 50offset and 8.5 wide. Any ideas if these will fit?

Maybe, depending on the spokes.

Possibly. Really depends on the spoke design. You have to test fit one. With a +50 offset, it's going to be close.

So I tried them on and the spokes hit the Brembos. I could got 10mm spacers but didn't want to mess with it. Also, I found out last minute that the offset was staggered even though the width and tire sizes were the exact same, I still didn't want to mess with it but I have to admit, they looked SICK!!!!

Here's a pic of what they looked like.
