Default Some day, I want a collection like this :)

Thought this was a pretty neat collection of cars for one man. I just wonder how much money he is into it... just out of curiousity...

I grew up with old cars. They suck really.... The smell of gas and exhaust, bad singly ply tires, top speed 90mph and it feels like the car is going to fall apart. They just weren't built good in those days. Now if you take a new corvette and put old body pannels on it it would be a different story. Old cars are only good to look at, not drive.

^^^ Agreed..... mostly.

In the 1970s.... GM and Chrysler came out with some pretty impressive rides..... with some really outragious (for the time) technology.

Ford stopped making anything decent in about 1973. Once the gas crisis hit in 74, GM and Chrysler managed to squeeze through it by still making some decent emissions compliant cars. Ford? Well.... Ford gave us the Mustang II.... LOL

Once the 1980s hit..... everything made in the US was pretty much crap... and the Japanese cars were starting to rival the quality of US cars.

By the 90s.... JDM cars were superior.

Wonder what happened to all that research, initiative, and new technology that US companies were known for in the 1960s and 1970s????

Now Korean companies like Hyundai and Kia make better cars than US companies..... pathetic.

I agree. You spoke specifics I was more blanketing all of that. There is no comparison to a new car vs an 1960 anything.
