Default Any candadian baja owners out there?

I was wondering if there's anyone from great north here that has the all weather package? I'd like to add the heated wipers, however I'd need the options portion from someone's vin so I can order the wiring harness. If someone wouldn't mind sharing I'm be much appreciative.

seek bajabob, he has a Canadian Baja sport. I'm sure you know that the wipers are not heated.....it's the front windsheild that has a defroster coil on it. You will need to replace the windsheild and source the appropriate wiring and switch.

Thanks! Yes I just assumed that was a given. My windshield is coming due for replacement it's pretty chipped at 100k. The big challenge is I'd like to swap out and install the factory wiring harness in the instrument cluster so the switch wiring is all there. I may have to do the bulkhead as well, I need to dig a bit. I managed to swap out the entire cabin wiring harness and install the heated seats if i can pull this off it'd make me happy.

You had to swap out the entire cabin harness to get power heated seats? there isn't an auxillary harness for that? I wanted to install power heated seats but not if I need to swap out the entire harness.

yes the entire wiring harness under the carpet is one piece. Thankfully subaru was smart in the design, there's connectors up front and in the back just before the respective firewalls. However I did have to rewire it a tiny bit for the sport as it doesn't have the second fuel pump. Nothing terrible if you take out the seats, lower trim carpet. Then pull the wiring harness out the new one really just pops in except for the fuel pump. I think I had to solder and rewire 5 or 7 wires. After I'd traced all the wires to be perfectly sure they connected to the exact same spots with an ohm meter which was time consuming.

Default new here

Just bought my 04 turbo baja off of Kidjoe. First subie, first turbo.
Picked a difficult vehicle to mod for sure! Thought my pockets were deeper,
but 5k extra for parts and upgrades right away sure didnt get me far.
doing much reading whilst I wait for all my goodies to cross the border
and get here already.

How's the baja running? Is it still clean? How do you like it? What did you buy for it?

running well. Show car clean. Hrs upon hrs of detail work.... Lots of goodies
for it on the way from all corners of the earth. Won't say more. Will let you see it in person at the next meet I had to play catch up with you.

No regrets. A few surprises, but a fun experience so far.
