Default Catalytic Converter for ESP

Do the rules require a catalytic converter for ESP?

Is this Roy?

No cat needed for ESP and luckily you live in SC where there aren't any inspections/ emission laws.

Put the vf52 on any 2006+ 2.5 liter wrx and it becomes a 2009 assembly. I went through all of this last year when I was building mine. There's a reason I have the entire intake system sans the vf52 on my car.

Even corresponded with D Gill and former members of the SEB and SPAC.

SP rules would have allowed it, so there's a reason they're going to be in bsp as well. They can't seperate what they used from what they could use when everythings the same.

You have to ask "how do they build firehawk and cobra clones" Then you have to wonder if you had a 2009 wrx and the head or bottom end failed, would it matter when either component was built as they are comprised of the same part numbers. In esscence the dealer could make your car illegal by using a 2006 2.5 head on your 2009 if that's truly how you interprted the rule.

I have no cat........just to stick it to ST* rules

Not trying to start anything...it's just the way I saw it and felt as though I had the back up to be legal. mmmm 300/350 class killer
