Default SCCA Freeze and Breeze Solo, Sep 19th

SCCA Freeze and Breeze Solo, Sep 19th
Registration is open at www.motorsportreg.com for the 6th Championship event of our 2009 Summer Solo Championship Season set for Saturday, September 19th, 2009. The "Freeze and Breeze Solo" will be held at Alaska Raceway Park, which is located off Sullivan Road at Mile 10.4 of the Old Glenn Highway (also known as the Palmer Alternate).
Swap your mosquito dope for warm duds and come do your your best to swerve around the old orange cones at the Arctic Alaska Regions' 6th Solo event of the year. Chairman Kevin Cose said, "It has been a long break since I've made an event, and I know everyone is itching to watch my co-driver break my clutch." Lunch will be provided on Saturday

Schedule Event Morning
8:00AM - Solo Team Arrival
9:30 AM - 10:00 AM - Registration Hours
10:15 AM - Novice Walk-thru with Driver Training Members
10:45 AM - Mandatory Driver's Meeting for all Competitors!!
First Car on Course Immediately Following Driver's Meeting - The Fun Begins!

All competitors will need to come by the Registration Tent upon arrival - both those who registered online and those who choose to register at the event Saturday morning. Note that Registration is only open for 30-minutes. You will then head to Tech for your vehicle inspection. It is best to arrive early so you'll have time to settle your gear, prepare your car, get through Tech, and walk the course!

Who is the "real" enthusiast of the sport? The SCCA event is the next in this years' Trifecta of Solo - the three sanctioning-body autocrosses in just eight days. The field was set at the PCA, Alaska Chapter sanctioned event on the 13th. Next up is the SCCA, Arctic Alaska Region sanctioned event this Saturday the 19th where we'll see who is still eligible for the final WSCC sanctioned event on the 20th. Who, will it be?
