Amazing. I was bad mouthing them the whole game. They played horrible and simply got dominated in every aspect of the game. I still wondering how they pulled that out.

Great win dawgs!

Yeah, we played horribly during the 3rd quarter- we LOST 20-25 yards in the 3rd...

First half wasn't so bad...

But the ending!!!! People that were walking out of the stadium were saying that that was the most exciting/best game they had ever seen/ or seen in a long time...

I guess they weren't there for the USC game.

But, it was a great win- if only for the fact that our guys saw that by not giving up- like last year- they can make things happen.

Just imagine if we would have gained that needed 1 stinkin yard against ND, and then won this game...

Next week is going to be tougher.... Hopefully the Sark has a plan and we play defense and our offense can produce!

So many of the guys in my PC left early with like 4 min to go and behind by 12 points. I was like no they can pull this out.

They got mad at me when i asked them why they left

Arizona State and WSU are behind the Huskies in Pac-10 standings.

Hope the Beavers really hurt those arrogant, rap sucking, Ducks!

Did you see their win though...

Seriously this was a battle for "not the worst team" game. Still a good win for UW though.

I like how everyone harps on the Huskies....

Every school has it's ups and downs. Every school bends the rules to win. Schools pay off refs, teams pay off refs, everything is biased. The Huskies have the most winning record in all the PNW. The Huskies have been considered the ONLY Team up North worth mentioning.

Other parts of the country know who the Huskies are, but have no idea who Boise, Oregon, WSU, or any other team from the PNW. The Huskies were forced into becoming a weaker team. The SEC and every other division was scared of the Huskies, so they accused the Huskies of doing the exact same thing their schools/boosters were doing but were creating better results.

The Huskies were a force to be reckoned with. Our head coach Don James stepped down in protest for the punishment issued. It was unrealistic considering EVERY other Top 25 team was doing the exact same thing to recuit. It was a dismal day.

Since Don James, the Huskies haven't had a REALLY good coach and have been confused becuase of fear of suffering the same punishment for less. We didn't have to get rid of Neuheisel, who was our best coaching choice since Don James. But ethically, they decided we had to.

By the Huskies loosing all scholarships, it enabled the rest of the PNW to raise up their level of talent. Fortunately, the Huskies have a good coach now. He cares about the players, he cares about winning, HE experienced being devastated by what the Husky program was all about. He understands how it should be and where it will be in a couple years. He is getting the recuits that we haven't gotten in almost a decade. About 3/4 of our starters are freshmen, and this is how well they played. Give the Sark and the Huskies two more years and they will be on top again.

Oregon and Oregon state, the Huskies are on their way back. WSU, has always been a thorn in the baby toe for the Huskies, but never a real challenge- they couldn't even put three consecutive wins together...

The Huskies went from 0-12 (Granted they were without their star quarterback for seven games) to possibly a 5 game winning season- one win away from being Bowl eligible. They have to win a really tough game next week to accomplish that, but still, what other team can have that big of a turn around that quickly? It goes to show how bad our previous coaches really were.

The Huskies will be stronger, smarter, and better in every way year next year. We had a true freshman run for over 1000 yards this season, our quarterback is just starting to get teh feel of a completely different offenses scheme. There are many changes and improvements that need to be made.

The Huskies will become good enough that ref's blatently bad calls will not effect the outcome of the game.

I don't know how many suby people actually played competitive sports, but being able to recognise and acknowldge talent or accomplishment even though it may be accomplished by an advisary, is a courtesy and shows good sportmanship.

Foot notes for all those people who went to WSU (and others):

The Huskies are on their way back to becoming a power house, allow us (Husky Fans) to enjoy the improvements accomplished and look forward to a better year. Give props where props is due...

^ well played sir, i agree.

I never talk bad about wsu because the only time i cheer against them is in the apple cup. however, they (my cougar friends) always talk crap to me when uw loses. Looking at simple states (overall) UW dominates WSU. WSU could win the next 30 apple cups and still not have as many wins in the rivalry.

proud season ticket holder for 22 (me) 27 (parents) years. good or bad, I am there.
