I have a two car garage, jack, jackstands, ramps, and tools. It's very manageable (temperature wise) in the dead of winter with the garage door closed and a couple area heaters.

Is mykrrr the one with the black, newer miata? I saw him when I stopped in quickly at the meet this week. He suggested justin or brad.

I might be able to donate a few hours. What part do you need help with?

I'm guessing the entirety of pulling the motor, removing old clutch and flywheel, installing new clutch and flywheel, and reinstalling the motor.

it only takes twice as long as it should with brad's help

I was supposed to help with a clutch this week for a friend's mother, but she dropped it at hodges instead...

That said i've dedicated my only available day before Jan 1 to fixing my car.

Sorry to hear that Ben.

Does anyone want to contribute some money for some flowers or perhaps a donation to a charity of their choice if they don't want flowers? I'd be down for kicking in some money.

On a less sad note, Merry Christmas everyone.

Condolences to their family And I'd be willing to kick in something if a donation, be it flowers or something else, takes place.

When his wife passed they requested no flowers, I recall that.

The viewing is on Sun in Brighton, I should have more info then.

Justin...

I mainly need help (I'm guessing) with the first half of the whole process. The taking apart stage. I'm thinking I'll have an easier time putting it all back together.

Plus if someone is there when I start, I won't bitch out, and I'll get a flywheel installed!

hardly.

i've done it many times each way. without a lift and trans jack it is MUCH easier/faster to remove the engine than the transmission.

Bar Louie? B-Dubs? I haven't been in a bit, so I need to go to return and/or exchange various video game controllers and/or skis and bits.

Not sure about NAIAS or gun show. Will have to see.
