PM arch4life and see if he as time and any interest in tuning anymore. He's done quite a few local cars. Another option might be an e-tune from Phatbotti Tuning. I can help with the flashing and logging if you want to pay them to do the tuning.

What about Tony Simmons? Is he still tuning cars?

Anyone know how Speed Industry take two is doing?

Payne never recovered from the theft? Or did he just go away.

Speed Industry wasn't doing a whole lot,.. and then he and Tony had a falling out and Tony stopped tuning there.

Shortly after that, Alexai was involved in a horrible car accident. I'm not sure SI is even opened at the moment.

Arch4life is swamped with a new job. Like 60 hours a week or something crazy. So he's not doing any tuning last he told me.

That leaves driving to Chicago or flying in a tuner. But even then,... where are you gong to rent a dyno? Before Alexi's accident I contacted him about renting the dyno,... and it was many hundreds of dollars per hour. More even that the tuner I was planning to fly in. I guess he REALLY didn't want the business.

Livernois Motorsports put in a 4 wheel Dynojet,.... if you care for those.

It's a dry time for Subbys locally.

Best I've found is,... every month P&L in Chicago flys in Junior from the East coast. It's an 11 hour round-trip,... but it's worth it. Junior is the best tuner by a mile that Ive tried,.. and I've used Jared from PDX, Tim Bailey from Surgeline (who is now the head tuner for Cobb), Tony, Chris Black at AMS in West Chicago, etc.

Speed industry is currently operating while alexei recovers, I'd talk to Tony about tuning. I have Tom payn's number if you wanted to give him a call.

Did not recover from theft. Locked the doors and wound up selling the business to the person who created Speed Industry. Last I heard Tom was a race car tuner for hire doing some ALMS cars and such.

Sucks about the ups and downs of Speed Industry. If I had the money, I'd have purchased it and tried to make it work.

Afraid your "quiet" car might sneak up on us?

Yes I'm going to the meet. Info is on the 1st page in post #2. ~7pm at Uptown Grille. I'll call Vlad. He'll probably show up. I might bring Angie along as well.

If anyone shows up we're in the restaurant along the back wall in a booth. Bar was too busy and only seating was right in front of guy singing.
