Sorry I never made it out to see anyone, **** got hectic really quick. Even with 2 weeks I bet I would be running about. On top of that Kim was feeling sick a good bit of the time. Got back home, took a test and I'm going to be a Dad According to the doctor today we should be expecting on or around Jan 17th

No thanks. Want to stick with the WRX springs if I can find them.

Hey everyone! New to the Detroit area. I'm looking to sell my 07 2.5i and get a newer WRX. Is anyone selling or know of an 09+ wrx for sale for around $20k?

I don't know of any, but you can check the classifieds. You might also look at misubie.com as there tend to be more locals over there. At least there used to. I haven't logged in over there in quite some time. There are also a few people on michiganace.com.

I've also seen a good number of Subarus for sale on the local Craigslist (Detroit / Oakland/Macomb Counties).

Nothing that has caught my eye yet on craigslist/locals. They are either over priced or beaten to hell and back. I checked out those other websites you provided and I don't think they're active anymore. Anyways, I'm not rushing in to anything. I'm in the process of celling my 07 Impreza 2.5i and once I do I'll be able to purchase a WRX. I'm thinking a 2010-2012. Let me know if you find anything

Default Need Help with Locked ECU!!! Anyone got an A/P?

Just found out that after a year spent rebuilding the motor in my 08 STi that my ECU has a Cobb tune on it preventing any other tune until i get it set back to stock. The guys at Cobb said that anyone with an A/P could reset my ECU.

SO....anyone live in the Detroit area that would be willing to help? The procedure would invovle un-marrying your car, programming mine, unmarrying mine and reprogramming yours. I know it's a bit of work so I'm offering up a fine case of beer in return for the favor

I know not many people know me here but the guys at Oakos know me, just ask Bryce.

Thanks for the help!

Hey, all.

I'm new to this side of the state. I moved from Kalamazoo and am looking to find another good group of Subie/car/motorcycle people. Thank you.

Time for a changing of the guard. I'd say if you younger or newer guys want to get together someone will have to step up and take charge of planning a meet. Most of the regular attendees of years past have gotten married, popped out children, found new jobs further away, moved away, or gave up on Subaru and no longer hang out here.

I can update the thread title and first few posts with new information once it is decided where and when a meet will occur. Someone else can take responsibility for planning it. I was at damn near every weekly meet for 6 years straight, at least half of those being the one to get there first and reserve a table. I'd like to be the old guy who shows up 40 minutes late and somehow manages to get his food first (TOM!!!)

i can get one started, at least for the summer time.

whereish and whenish is everyone free?

Woodward is a good place since everyone knows it, but as we all know has gotten a TON of bad news floating around it.. but that's mostly at Potbellys. I think we could go to a different place and hang and it wouldn't be an issue.

If anyone likes Woodward, i can cruise on down there this weekend and ask shop owners if it's chill if we use their lot for a car meet.

If anyone wants to go somewhere else, that's chill too.

I suppose it would be nice to figure out where everyone is located and then try to find a somewhat central location to meet.

I live in Clarkston and work in Milford.

Seems like most are on the east side, but if there's any interest in something on the west side I would offer up my space. It's a motorsport-only art gallery in downtown Ypsilanti (East of Ann Arbor, at I-94 and US-23).

There is a big parking lot across the street and a bunch of cafes, restaurants and bars. This would also be a good meetup spot for people that like to do the North Territorial or Irish Hills driving routes on weekend mornings.

Been out of the car/bike/racing community getting all this together over the years, am interested to start getting back into it.
