I never thought it would be this hard to sell a car.... drove to car max today in waukesha to see how much i could get for it if i don't sell it private party. well the the price they gave me was right around where i was thinking it was going tlo be but still disappointing to see it tho.

i just don't want to renew the plates so i have 15 days to sell the car.....never thought id be saying that considering I've been trying to sell it since about march....

Kyle, thanks for running out to my house last night... I owe you food, beer or gas money for your trouble.

Hey Shannon, I'm still down to volunteer, but I'm gimpy now so I won't be able to do much. Maybe registration? Or maybe something where I can just sit there and talk to people? LOL

I broke two ribs in a low speed motorcycle crash over the weekend. damn gravel.

that was like 3 or 4 years ago I think...

Still looks like this but now it has a Spec C roof vent, the lip is off and broken in the basement plus I run a front plate with my screen name on it.

should be easy to spot... take the same route daily twice as well - Cottage Grove Rd to Stoughton Rd to the beltline West and back .. Typically work 7-3 - M-F

Guys. Im feeling hella lazy... AND have a gift certificate for an express detail at Octopus East Washington... I've heard mixed reviews about their detailing, kinda worried about bringing the car there before the show... Any recent customers here that could shed some light on them? Do they change their polishing pads regularly??

I own a portercable and could just put the elbow grease in and get it done in a few hours myself... but this gift cert makes it so tempting.... thoughts? halp!

Registration sounds good. I'll have to come over with Bill and Jim to give you a 3-Stooges routine. That should help, right...you know... laughter being the best medicine.

I think Octopus has a good business model. Wash cars with dirty towels that cause swirls. Then, sell polishing services to deep cut the clearcoat to remove said swirls. Rinse and repeat.

is it getting warm in here?

For the record Octopus is a million times better than Mermaid.. the Mexicans over at Mermaid are hella lazy and do a really 5hitty job. Now having said that my Scoob hasnt been washed in approx 2 years based on the fact I refuse to allow anything other than my hand washing get it clean. Subie paint is like super thin (or used to be if they changed a formula) and easy to fuk up.

I have a dull throbby headache today thanks to several Fat Tires last night...
