well kinda funny story here...

i was working on one of my small farm display truck changing over the exhaust from the stocker to a big pipe out the bed of the truck. well to do that i needed to drill a hole thru the bed of the truck and i think you can guess what happened next.

i went about halfway thru my left index finger with a 3/16" drill bit.

thats not even what pissed me off tho. i can deal with pain and i was gonna just leave it but it was deep. they dont do stiches on that part for possible infections to start apparently.

but na what pissed me off is that i went to the dean west clinic urgent care...well they close at 8 apparently. the security guard came out and said we're closed and shut the door like im supposed to know where another dean urgent care is off the top of my head. i did all i could not to punch the guy as you could see my finger starting to drip blood...(also mind you this is now about 20 mins after it happened and i live in waunakee)

so i start to leave and then i go no wait. i go back and rap on the door saying could you at least tell me where the nearest urgent care is then and he goes no. well what about a nurse, he hmms and haws ill go get a nurse. nurse come out and goes go to the the one on park street. i then ask for her name and the security officers name and then the nurse goes well you dont need that and you dont need to get lippy with him.

by this time inm furious at the whole situation. i mean come on a finger bandaged up and dripping blood and a nurse cant stay an extra 15 mins?

tell ya what im filing a complat as soon as i can....

Changed the focus of the shoot to match their plan B requirements. Wyolusing State Park became our destination. Completed studio shots at our place at 2am. We were all so tired, she just crashed at our place. Another shoot in Sept and then she moves to India.

Still having problems posting on here.....annoying.

Yeah. I was pretty close to the same. I got up and saw Harry potter. Went to lindsey's dads to get the kiddos, took a power nap on the way back from Illinois, an went to a buddy's house for a cookout tonight. I'm going to be a zombie again tomorrow.

Yeah I was looking forward to the autox but my car started running a lot richer (10.0) so I was a little concerned about that. I think when I filled up in Madison, it might have been 100% gas for some odd reason

You missed one Friday night. Just keep posting in the thread. They come up every month or so. Mainly based on the motivation of someone stating a day/time.

Kyle, your driveway looks nice! My girlfriend and I took a ride down to Maria's Pizza Saturday and drove by your place.

Work computer. Probably something to do with our firewall. I'll hit it at home in an hour or so. Just found out Subaru is sending us 4 WRX/STIs again. Since our turn-around is so quick, we're getting some much needed attention this year. We have no idea what they'll be, but we're still happy to be getting them.

Replacing the front pads on the wife's car this week. 53k miles on Hawk HPS pads has been very satisfying to say the least. The rotors are still smooth, even, and well within spec. The rear pads still have a ways to go before they need replacing. $95 shipped from Tirerack and she'll be back on the road.

edit--Definitely something with the work computer. No problems at home. Beautiful.

Same for me Shannon, but hatchback. Not sure how serious I am about getting a new subie, but I've seen a couple white 2010 hatchbacks I reeeeeeeeeeeally like.

If I replace my RS, I'd be getting lower gas mileage and the requirement to run premium with the turbo.....hmmmm.

I just realized I'm a 'Scooby Newbie' even though I've been around longer than most of our current madison crew.

I'll make sure everyone knows what we're getting right away.

Just got off the phone with John at Kelly-Moss. The boss says he needs to get $75 for 3 runs on the dyno. Those of you who have the registration sheets from the last event and were turned away because of the lack of time still get the same $55 as at the show. That's only if you had registration papers, though. I know it's more than anticipated, but it is still $10 off the regular price. I hope that still works.

terb, I'm more amazed that there are so many 'gurus' and 'specialists' who don't know what the hell they're talking about. I don't profess to know much about Subarus, but at least I own one and try to know more if possible.

Looks like the '07 WRX has a new home. Wish I had something to do with it. Crap.

Anyone know of a place in need of a full-time fashion photographer?

That 07 is an awesome car for someone... I would have loved it but its just not cost effective for me to get a wagon or hatch.

It was so fn hot today that I burnt both my hand and feet after work today on my momo shifter and wrx pedals. Insane!

Matt, you can't get white if I get white.... I heart pearl white like its nobodys business.

You should try the stoptech pads if you haven't order already. I have em and love em, plus there less than $60 from knsbrakes.com depending on car
