for those who dont follow facebook....

i got some parts finally off the car. front/rear seats (driver good passenger still good for the cloth), stock radio/bezel, hvac piece, speedo cluster.

someone wanted the fog light switch i have that as well.

engine looks good but i think the heads are junk (i think), passenger top cam gear busted and from what i could see the driver lower is as well and belt is loose on it.

Pedro Irvin Aleman i have most of the stuff you wanted from me. forgot the jack tonight so i couldnt get underneath the car.

have pretty much all the pillar stuff and door jamb stuff as well if anyone is interested in that, i think the driver a-pillar is spoken for tho....

full set of enkei edr9's with falken fk452 (rims bought march 2011 and tires prolly have one summer left on them) comes with full set of lugs and 2 keys, very small curbbage on one rim, black in color)

let me know what you want and i might have it

Default Dealers honoring warranty with modifications

Hey guys

I'll be new to Madison in a few weeks, and I'm wondering if anyone has experience with warranty work on modified vehicles. Which dealerships in the area are mod-friendly? Also, anyone catless? Where's a good spot to get the emissions inspection done if you're running sans cats?

There is only one dealer in Madison. Don Miller. Emissions don't exist either.

Any experience with Don Miller? And what do you mean by "emissions don't exist"?

I've had a great experience there at Don Miller. But I see your original question is related to "mod friendly" It depends on what it is, and if it is related to whatever it is your issue may be.

Wisconsin doesn't do emissions validation. Yet. I'm catless Stage 2.

Welcome to WI! :-)

Thanks! And no emissions? Sick! Catless stage 2 here as well.. what I'm trying to get at is whether they honor warranty claims for your vehicle although it's modified.

Well, they don't do TESTING here but if you're caught it's still the federal issue.

If you have an aftermarket DP and you blow your turbo, I think you'll have an issue at Don Miller. They're pretty by the book.

On the other hand, I've known people (buddy with a 2005 LGT) who blew his turbo, it was bone stock and he never beat the car. Don Miller went to bat for him and got Subaru to pay for the repair AFTER the warranty period. Like 2 months... (shrug)

Where are you moving from, CA?
