Default '06 Sti springs and struts on '04 wrx?

Will this work? I've been working with a guy who says they'll work fine, but I've heard otherwise. What about the '04 Sti struts? will those go on my '04 wrx just fine? Thanks

The springs and the REAR struts will work. The fronts will not.

Ok... Thanks guys. I already bought the springs. luckily I didn't buy the struts yet. can anyone help me out with some '04 struts? Or does anybody have suggestions? I know one of my friends has a set of Coilovers. Should i get those, or what would be best for greater suspension?

I'd go with a set of Tokico D-spec struts over STI takeoffs. What kind of driving do you do? Just daily driver or any track or autocross?

Give them a call... good guys, the kind that won't sell you something you don't need.

If you're going to be at all serious about the autocross you'll need something stiffer than the stock sti springs. If its just for fun then I wouldn't worry about it. Those struts can adjust to a pretty wide range of spring rate too.
