Yeah, I saw that post, but no, wasn't me...lol. Plus you were somewhere my truck wasn't, IIRC. We just installed those last night. And I won't be driving around with them on all the time, because I'm not a douche bag like that. My lows are pretty bright but shouldn't be blinding anyone.

Just a follow-up to the 70w HID concept:
Guy over on another forum got them in his truck, using the stock headlights. Here's a pic: ![]() Really bright, shockingly. He had 55w HID's, and says these are significantly brighter. He had 100W halogen bulbs in the housings before with no heat issues, so he's not worried about the heat from these. |

I'd have to see these in real life-it looks like they are spilling a ton of light above the cutoff. Personally I'd be more concerned about the ballasts melting down at that wattage!
It would be interesting to see what they did in proper HID projectors, though(no,Scott that does not mean I think you should try them in yours ). Lol! |

j/k!The ballasts on those 70w kits are rather large. At least they look like it in the pictures. Pretty heavy-duty looking. |

anyone know if you can physicly fit Bi-xenon FX-R projectors into a 2007 WRX headlight? They appear to be very similar in sizing to the more common TSX projectors (except for the ~19.5mm for the relay on the bottom).

Its physicallly possible but would require major reworking of the stock mount or a custom mounting plate and bezel.

Which projectors are those? I'm assuming bi-xenon since there's no room for anything else in there....lol.

Those are the FXRs-the same type of projector as in my Wife's Santa Fe retro. I hope to have more pics later tonight or tomorrow as progress is made.
