Default Will stock 02 wrx wheels fit a 2010 wrx?

Will stock 02 16" wrx rims and tires fit a 2010 wrx?

I'm planning on using it for a winter setup.

The tire size seems to be the same so this could be a good deal and better than a steel rim. I cant find the offset of my wheels in the manual, but I know the 02-03 are +53 to +55

I'll dig this one up since it is exactly what I'm after...

Will the 16's clear the rotor/caliper's?

I'm looking to do the exact same thing > '02 WRX wheels on a '10 WRX for winter.

Doesn't say anything about calipers, unless I'm blind. 5x100 is bolt pattern. '02 has 16" stock, '10 has 17" stock and bigger front&rear brakes.

If you have nothing useful to add, don't reply.

08+ basically has the same 02-05 front brakes(just .2" bigger rotors, 1" bigger and now vented in the rear), as mentioned, they fit.

ok...so some random person on the internet says nothing but "yes they will fit" and we're all supposed to take it as the be all end all. Heaven forbid someone try and double check an internet based fact in order to make sure they don't waste money on a purchase or worse, mess up their car.....

I have put said wheels on said car and they do fit. I am going to run them for the winter also. Snow tires for 16" wheels are a lot cheaper than snow tires for 17" wheels.

Reviving old thread!

hey guys! I put 02 wrx wheels on my 09 etc.. But for some reason I hear a metal to metal swoosh swoosh noise as I pick up speed.. Doesn't sound healthy .. Anyone have any idea what it could be? i'm lowered on epic springs and koni if that helps. No aftermarket brake upgrades other then brake lines.

Thank you!

David

Yeah doesn't seem like anything is rubbing.. could it be my dust Shield behind the rotor?
