Foster practices today.

We should be able to beat Miami, then a tough two weeks @NOLA and Pittsburgh (one can only hope they play as bad as in week 1).

If we get to week 7 at 3-3 I'd be happy.

They are making all the right moves and really seems like the whole team is on the same page this year. I think they are going to show everyone this year that they are one of the elite teams.

If we come put of those two games with one win I would be happy. I think Pittsburgh is gonna play pissed off the next couple of games.

1st and foremost.......i will take the win.

-kind lack-luster performance
-miami ran the ball all over us during their 10pt run
-foster should of never played, probally sits for 3+weeks now.

cant get out of my head that we were 2-0 last year

I really hope they bring their A game for the Saints cause that's going to be the first real challenge. We have the players to make it happen, just need to make sure that we put up points on the board.

Power rankings for week 3 have the Texans in the 3-5 spot.

Yes

We got a killer defense, triple threat with Foster, Tate, and Ward
Hopefully a couple weeks of practice will get Leinart in sync with the O line.

Hey at least for now we can bask in the stats glory
7-3
#1 in AFC
#3 overall in NFL
#1 Overall Defense
#2 Rush Defense
#4 Pass Defense

CN: Playoffs - Yes sir!

But once in the play offs? Leinart even if he's "sync"ed with the O line, still does nothing but throw interceptions. He's just another one of those pretty boy dbag QBs from USC that was over rated in college. Texans can't run Tate and Foster to death, and play off teams will figure out the limited options rather quickly.

Eh, I can't really agree with all this. He was a heismann winner, it's not like he's complete trash. Not saying I like him at all, I think he's a massive douche, but he should be able to take care of business.

We have one of the best if not THE best defenses in the league and one of the best if not THE best backfields in the league. If our defense and run game plays like they have been all Leinhart will have to do is make easy passes to move the chains. A good run game takes a lot of pressure of the QB, and we have that going for us.

I honestly don't think Schaub is that great of a QB, and if our current team can't win without him I'd be shocked.

Schaub is a good QB just not overrated like everybody else, his stats says it all. Hopefully everyone coming into the games thinking to stop the run will work to our advantage as well. Trying to stop run+coverage on Andre(if he plays) leaves others open.

I'm going to try and be an optimist, and say that Leinart is taking the reigns with something to prove. Going from Heisman winning QB in college to let down in the pros hopefully won't be the way his story ends. All that being said, he hadn't seen a real season snap in over 20 games until 4th quarter Sunday. His style of play meshes well with our style offense so maybe he will surprise us all.

Leinart held off to come to the Texans solely because he liked Kubiaks offense so I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do.
