Default OT: quick, what's the device used to control lines of people...

like in great america or something. it's a pole with a ribbon that retracts that would link to another one.

you use it to make lines of people where there are no permanent ones.

dang, i just cant come up with a name or description.

if you have one, i remember the name of the company right on top of the pole...

I know they call the permanent ones at amusement parks "turn styles" hope this helps

No, turnstyles are the things you go through at the gate when you hand over your ticket, that click over as you pass through them to make it difficult to go back. They usually also have a counter inside that index with each 'turn' so they can count the number of people in attendance at a park for the day, or at a ball game.
