Thumbs up Miller Subaru Event!! Oct 17.

Ok guys and gals my buddy works out at the track and we are getting and event planned out for Subaru's and was supposed to be for just Nasioc but I think we will get a better turn out if we just put the word out and get as many subaru's out there as possible.

The event on Oct 17th is an MPRA race event with a big Subaru and Mitsubishi presence supposedly.

And so we want a huge subaru show of course, so it will cost you $16 bucks a car(if you have your wife or girlfriend they get in with this price or just a passenger), which will include the coral/show right up front, a swag bag and he is trying to get us out for just a parade lap right before the main race, he is also trying to get something for a give away as well but we are not sure on that just yet.

There will also be a timed Auto-Cross out at the east padock as well, and we are trying to keep that as cheap as possible. (this might also be open to the public as well)

So come out that day!! if anything you will have right up front parking and are already there for the race!! plus a swag bag!
And remember we want as many people out there as we can!! I may also post on SLCSubaru as well. But for now just get the word out! and let me know if you plan on going so I can keep a tally so we know about how many cars to expect!

K the parade lap is for sure now!! and it will be around the full track!!

Also forgot to mention I believe my buddy has help from the SRRT as well! not sure in what way though.

Any questions let me know!! Thanks

Assuming things work out, I'll already be out there for SCCA PDX. Since that is the beginner day and I have nothing else planned I'll probably be there instructing even if I don't run on Sunday. 16 bucks includes what, exactly? Because if I go out I can get I think 4 cars in for free as "pit crew" for me, it's just an MPRA race day...

yeah as far as I know the 16 includes the coral/show area, the swag bag, enters you name if we have a bigger drawing, and we are trying to do a parade lap around the track before the main event, I think he is still working on that as well.

and the 16 is per car, so if you have a passenger or so they ride in with you.
maybe I'll see if the 16 can include a couple autocross runs or something.

Wow! This should be great! I've only done the West Course so it'd be cool to get to do the full run! Thanks for coordinating this. Being that I just kicked my ex boyfriend to the curb and my friends are only into shopping at Nordstroms and getting manicures, we'll see if I get excited enough to head out there with a bunch of strangers

Thanks again!

we are no strangers!!!!! you have a subaru then you fit right in!! and yeah it is the full course but it wont really be full on racing or anything, its just a parade lap, I'm sure we'll get some decent speeds though!

But yeah I am going to expect you to be out there now though!!

Oh and bring your friends with you!!

Right right, I figured I wouldnt get any significant speed, just cool to check out the whole track. My friends would only come if they were kidnapped, so...if you wanna get on that, I can give you addresses

haha yeah I think I'd rather stay out of prison, but maybe someone else will be down!

and yeah I just want to do the same thing, check out the whole track, plus one of the main reason's we are doing this is so we can hopefully get some sponsors for later events down the road! cause there will deffinately be more to come!!

It will only be a bunch of strangers if you don't meet everyone, plus, you're a girl, you'll have no problems.

Usually they limit parade laps to about 60 mph, sometimes a bit quicker. But it has been awhile since I was on one.

If you want to check out the whole track at speed, there is a beginner/intermediate SCCA PDX (HPDE) that day too. I believe it is 165 for non-SCCA members, though it could be a bit more due to being on the full track. forums.utahscca.com then click on the road racing section.
