I got a CE light and the code said pe141 or something and it was the heat signal from the O2 sensor. "Heat signal malfunction." We looked at the O2 data and it would not go higher when you reved it or anything. I think it is the rear one, because it said something along the lines of O2 #2. Anyone else have this problem? I have about 7500 miles with turbo now and I am at 28000. Maybe the sensors just cant take the rich mixture.
Thanks, scootr

I just read that code off a friend's car as well, his car is in stock form and was idling like crap, but ran great at WOT. Sounded much to me like an O2 sensor as well, though while it said bank1 sensor 2, I didn't think the rear O2 could actually cause the car to idle wrong like that. Felt more like sensor 1 (front). Not sure. *shrug*

P0141 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
Sounds like the rear sensor to me. They're damn expensive though... like $100 with a massive discount at the dealership, like $130 retail. |

Thanks 8,
looks like time to buy a rear O2. My buddy gets dealer prices, so hopefully it is not too much. I wonder how long the new one will last? We'll see. |
