Default What does EBC bleeder sound like?

Ok, so my bros P5-T is running...very well!!
Now we have a crazy sound, kinda sounds like the engine has alot of built up rage that it wants to unleash (kinda like the waterboy before he tackles someone) Thats really the only way to describe the sound. Kinda sounds like an elephant too.

Is this the EBC bleeding?
If it makes any difference, its a blitz SSBC.

There is also a PCV line coming from the manifold that goes back where the old air intake was. Does this need to be plugged up? Could it be making that really horrific noise?

Oh, and we never thought the 6psi (measured at manifold) could rip a metal reinforced rubber hose apart, but it did!

Oh man that`s the same snoise we get in the wrx we built down here!!! and the unique part with have in common is the boost controller, so it has to be the culprit!!!

Now wich boost controller does not make that horrible sound!!

Is your noise produced at full throttle? I am not quite sure if it bleeds at all, beacuse I don`t see any line or hose barb from where it could do that!, that`s why I think it could be the wastegate, as far as you rise the gain the boost controller you increase the onset of the sound

In our car, this noise comes only at partial throttle and only on 3 gear and above!!!

if you're getting a horrible noise like that, it might be a loose hose, vacuum line, or a split sillicone hose.

My EBC just made a clicking noise, I don't know how the SSBC hooks up tho.

The Blitz has a little nipple that just hangs out in the air.
The more boost the car is making/and thus trying to bleed off the louder it gets. It is the funniest thing in the world!
I'm supprised at the accuracy of the blitz, even when we got it set low, and floor it, the needle instantly (seriously) jumps to 5psi, and just holds! There is no jumping around or increasing either.

Any comments on that pcv line?

weird, it might be the bleeder then.

Connect the PCV line to a catch can or something, don't leave it open.
