Default 04 WRX Rear Trim Piece

So the left rear trim piece magically dismembered itself from my car, so I picked up a new one along with it's appropriate screws/clips. However when I tried to install the new one, I found that the bottom clip is still intact and refuses to come out.

VS

I felt around inside the wheel well to see if I could pop it out from the otherside, but didn't feel like I could access it from there. Do I need to pop off the trim along the bottom of the car to access it? Or...

Help a sister out...where my scoobie specialists at.

Just tape it on with the double sided 3m foam tape like the kind used with the diy lips. Mine did the same thing on my bugeye and has held up for a few years so far.

See if you can get some pliers, or a couple of tiny picks and kind of wedge it out.

Find a way to grab it out or push it in. Simple as that. A hammer and a screwdriver with a tip smaller then the size of the hole would be my recommendation. Just tap tap tap it in.

You could also try drilling it out.... Worth a shot. And if you mess something up, at least you have the trim to cover it up.
