Default Questions about passing emissions

So I have a stage 2 wrx, it has a catless up pipe, catless turboback exhaust, short ram intake, and open source tune. I just received a notice in the mail that says I need to get my 2010 registration and in order to do that I have to take an emissions test. The only stock part of the exhaust I have is the catback. First off, if I can find somebody to let me borrow their stock catted DP and I put that on along with the stock catback will I be able to pass? Also, if I put on the stock turboback exhaust, will it screw up anything with the open source tune? And last but not least, if anybody has a stock DP from an 05 wrx that I could borrow for a day that would be great!

BTW I'm in Littleton/Denver Colorado

Your open source tune should have made it so you can pass for life. There is a button in romraider that alloys you to "Force Readiness". This will mean that your car will be ready for EM. If they say you won't pass cause they look and see you don't have cat's, take it somewhere else.

Even without forced readiness you can pass, at least in utah, all you need to do is not have 3 things wrong with the ecu test.

for example, mine had low catalyst, and something else related to my exhaust, but I still passed

Enjoy it while you can. I think Tooele county will require emissions testing within the next few years. And with the current administration I supect CARB Nazi requirements will go nationwide.

Hang on to all your factory exhaust!
