That's one long ass run-on sentence there G. You might have heard of this one, it's called "punctuation". You can use it to form "sentences". They are comprised of "verbs", "nouns" and other remarkable little buggers. j/k

Anyways, it doesn't matter either way, what are you planning on doing for a tranny when you run 9psi and your stock tranny goes *boom*?

Thanks for the English lesson . I hadn't Really thought about the tranny I'm hoping that it will just stand up to it. I would hope not to have to buy a new tranny. But thats not even what my question was about was it. Not to be an ass, but a funny word comes to mind COMPREHENSION.

LMAO....

OK, I wanted to make you aware that 9psi might look good on paper with a EJ25, but there is a real danger there. That being of the tranny. 7psi is about the breaking point that has been documented in AFI, though sometimes it's less, sometimes it's more.

To answer your original question, I have a question for you -- What are your goals for the car?

Having a engine done by Cobb would be awesome, do you have the money for it? Do you have money for some sort of engine management (TEC-II for example), clutch, exhaust, and all of the rest of the goodies that you need to make a turbo kit work?

Just some things to keep in mind.

Thanks for the advice, I don't actually have the car but I just want to know what I have to look forward to. Iwant to look into the mechanical aspects of things I want to get a good reliable baseline and setup what to buy in order and go do it. I am looking for a moderate turbo kit that is reliable but that makes the car more peppy. I'm also thinking about an aluminum hood 2.5rs bumper to look cool like a 2.5RS but it will really be a Impreza L:monkey:

Thanks for the bird....

Check out the FAT or Ludespeed stage I or II kits... they run moderate boost levels, are safer and more reliable (run 5psi) than pushing the limits of the car with more boost (9 psi).

Oh, and same to you :monkey:
