Default Dailydevil dynoes does decent on Mustang dyno.

Dynoed today.

On a Mustang dyno (GP MOTO here in Portland, basically a privately owned dyno), 21psi netted me 294 whp, 300 torque. At 15 psi on the Mustang I did about 245/250. I compare this to the 292/298 I put down on a dynojet at 15 psi.

Sorry, no dynograph.

The good thing is I was safe in the tune, and the 292 whp was FLAT from 5000 rpm to 6500.

I do have a crapload of blowby. But car runs well and doesnt smoke just driving around. Will be trying to go out to PIR 2nite and see what happens. If I can't break 13.3 I am gonna shoot something...

Oh yeah, the ever important mods.

should be fine. at 245whp on a Dyno Dynamics, higher reading than a mustang dyno, i ran a 13.4@101 with a 1.9 60ft.

man, you sure have gone through lots of motors and setups for < 300whp

No more supercharger?

And are you planning a serious turbo upgrade? 8000cc injectors should be good for a gt9000

This is not the reddevil, this is the daily devil, the family wagon. The dailydevil has only lost ONE motor due to a sensor wire falling off under load. It had nothing to due with setup or tune. This setup has been the same (other than slowly improved) since day one.

Hey, I wanted to come out to PIR tonight and run, but I have some plans from 8-10 or so. It is only Fridays right ? Is this the last weekend for the season or are there more ? I heard it gets pretty thin around 10 because of the noise. I wonder if I didn't tell them about the atmospheric wastegate if I could get a run in anyways..... hmmm.

Naw, this was built and installed last November. I lost two Mahle pistons when the PP6 wire came off the MAF signal line.... I simply replaced the two pistons.

IF, and a big IF, I was able to drive over and dyno on the dyno jet and get the same numbers as before (292/294 @ 15 psi), then the Mustange numbers equate to about 350/350 on the dynojet...... But only if the trap speeds 2nite support this. If I don't hit over 105, I am going to get pissy.

The most inflated 294whp is definitely good for 12s. If you don't beat 13.3, it's not due to lack of power .

On a Dynomite dyno, with my stock 2.0/EvoIII 16g, I was making 265whp/268wtq, and it was good for 12.6@110, with a craptastic 1.8 60ft with a 12lb flywheel. You have a SOLID 12-sec car, whether the pass shows that or not
