Default HID Retrofit Problem, OEM Ballast, OEM bulbs, PNP Wiring Harness.. Please help

So I purchased a set of bugeye retrofits with infiniti fx35 projectors. everything wired up easily with the pnp harness but my low beams and high beams were switched on the stalk and the highbeam indicator would always be on (it would be high beam when i was on low beam and it would be low beam when i switched to high beam on the stalk)

Anyways I heard that the pins on the plug might be switched

and it should be blue brown white instead of white brown blue. One is +12v, and the other two are the high beam ground and low beam ground

So then I switched the pins around and now on my low beam my high beam comes on and I have no light output at all when i switch to high beam on the stalk and when i engage the foglight switch during lowbeam the highbeam indicator turns on.

any ideas of what the problem can be?

I can't for the life of me remember which goes where. I had a similar issue when I did mine. I'd say get a mulitimeter and test which wire is which on the car side plug and reset the lamp side pins accordingly...thats pretty much what I did. I wish I could help more.

You need to disconnect the DRL under the glove box if you are running HIDS. Wire your harness back like it was and check out this thread http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...079&p=10997214

Are your fog lights on? After I did my retrofit and had the fog lights on caused very similar issues to what you are experiencing. If that is the problem you will have to do the fog light mod by bypassing the fog relay.

i just did the mod. I have function of my foglights now which is great but my high beam and low beams are still switched. Any other ideas? If I can't figure this out i'm going to just electrical tape the high beam indicator on the gauge cluster and run the stalk switched.
