Default NASIOC OT Forza 3 League - v2.0

The Original OT Forza 3 League

Started June 2007

2/23/2011 UPDATE: We may be getting the band back together... post your interest.

After over 3 years of fun, we have folded the league. We are on every once in a while for pick up races, but nothing scheduled at this point. Thanks for playing!
League Racing: N/A
Current Series: N/A
Tracks, Race Calendar, Room Assignments, and Current Series Points: N/A

---------------------------------
League Rules

Etiquette: Despite the friendly slandering and name calling, we believe in racing clean and having fun. Anyone that has multiple senior members complaining about their race etiquette will at first be the focal point of most of the slander and name-calling. If the activity continues, the name-calling will be followed by a boot-to-the-head and removal from the league.

In addition, it is required to have a mic to race. No microphone, no racing.

To Join:
1) Visit our site at (currently disabled) and request a race number in the GT and Race Number thread.
2) Send a friends request to the following GamerTags: Fenrick, Megalixir, panozguy, MBTHE1ONE and Dolmen Tor.
3) Show up to race (if you miss 2 races in a row as a n00b, you will be removed)

That was a lot of fun. Thanks for arranging the n00b clinic and letting me join in the endurance series. Look forward to racing again, hopefully next week.

No problem Joe. You and the other 3 that showed up today were great. We'd be happy to have you guys stop by every Wednesday. Everyone had some good lap times on the various races we ran and you did great for your first enduro with us.

Ein, it was great having you aboard. See if you can find your mic or get a mic working for next week.

I'm obviously tired... multiposting like this... but whatever.

Hey kleinfreak, a little more than half of us race with controllers rather than wheels, so don't feel like you'd be the odd man out. If you don't like racing with the controller... that's kewl too.

Yeah you are

The controller is equal or faster than the wheel in some cases. I know a lot of leaderboard times are controller-based. Having the option, I enjoy the immersion of the wheel more, but I am still not as fast as I am with the controller.

I think we should run another noob clinic, since it worked out well. We can do a not-so-noob clinic and just start at 8 to get some people immersed into the group before we sic them on a 25 lap endurance race.

Good racing as always guys, and the n00bz all did well.

I'll take a clean racer over a fast but sloppy racer every day of the week.

<Dewey's mom's sloppy rear end joke goes here>

I had a blast! (Raztrax) Finally able to play with people who raced respectfully I posted some questions on the other site. If I would have joined sooner I would be playing FM2 much more often

I can't wait for FM3

Yeah, I made it. Plenty of gas and the tires were only dark orange, maybe 2.5 sec off my fastest lap by the finish. Did not expect that, thought you and Chuck had it wrapped up after the first couple of laps.

My times are not quite as fast on the controller. I'm not as soft and dexterous as I should be on the left stick but I'm much smoother on/off throttle/brake transitions.
