Default Moving to SLC Utah....

Hi! I will be moving to SLC, Utah next month and I'm just looking for some general information. I'm wondering what kind of inspection you guys have out in Utah. My exhaust is modified(catless uppipe, catted "DP, Evo ll catback) I know it was a PITA to register my car in Mass, so hopefully you guys are more laid back.
I'm also just looking for stuff to do type advice/ noob to the area info/whatever pointers you can give me. Thanks in advance for your replies!

you can pass even catless, so you should have no problems, the bars are better now that the laws have changed, and hopefully you ski or snowboard. check out the Taco Tuesday thread for out weekly meets.

Big O ftmfl.......I had a free oil change through Big O, so I let them change the Oil and for one it took over an hour and a half, two when I walked back to my car I noticed my driver side side skirt halfway ripped off. So I brought it to their attention and they told me I drove it there like that. I was like for one its the driver side so I would have noticed and two if my driver side side skirt was hanging on for dear life I would have A) either taken it off completely or B) Fixed it, I would not drive anywhere with the front part hanging off and catching all the air so it would either break in half or rip-off completely. I'm pretty sure the guy getting out of the car instead of putting his foot on the ground was putting his weight on the actual side skirt, because when I went to try and put it back on the actual dowels that hold it in place were broken off right under the door. I got it stay on now but I'm still bitter about this and they wouldn't even acknowledge they did it.

Apparently Jncominco doest get out much. While Utah has the title of being one lame ass state there is actually a good amount of stuff to do.

1. The outdoors. Ski snowboard, biking, camping, boating fishing golfing hunting **** you name it
2. Concerts. Anything from country music to electronic music is always going on in slc.
3. Great active nightlife in slc. For some reason thursday nights are always happening in down slc bars and clubs. Take the trax and your there.
4. Festivals. You have sundance film, the jazz festival, arts festival etc
5. 5.5 hours from vegas
6. Great canyon drives and off roading.
7. well ****, im drunk and i thought of these off hand. There is more. Just dont be a pile and get out and its easy to find things to do.

No more explanation that this needed.

I'm going to offer one anyway. This douche is up there with the Maverik loser in terms of horrible "extreme country" pitchmen, mostly because he's standing in a snowfield playing an electric guitar that's plugged into... nothing. I never knew a strat could sound so awesome unplugged in the great outdoors.

LOL. I'm in the airforce so I'm actually PCS-ing rather than moving. I don't have internet in my dorm, so I haven't been able to get on here in a while. I do plan on doing alot of snowboarding, though. I just gotta get better so I don't face-plant a tree.Thnx for the info on the inspections guys
