I put Borla headers on an '01 2.5RS, and someone thought I had a gutted cat. Seriously? It sounded very rumbly.

My 2000 2.5RS had Borla headers for a while. They sounded f-ing amazing. But those were an early generation design and kept on cracking so I got rid of 'em.

I then switched to the MRT headers (equal lenght) and there was a performance boost but the sound was less fun.

Now I have an Integra with complete aftermarket exhaust. I think it sounds pretty damn good.

God I'm such a ricer

funny, I've got the same thing going on. I love the looks of question and disgust from people walking past my car at cross walks.

Only after 2002 MY.

All JDM STIs after 2002 came with elh and twinscroll turbines. I have a 2001 and the boxer sound is embarrassing at this point, almost no one here still runs uelh.

has nothing to do with headers, it's just the way the pistons have to fire in a boxer engine to keep it balanced. subarus still sound like subarus. same reason a 270 degree crank on a triumph sound like a ducati and 360 degree crank on a triumph sounds like... a triumph.

Everyone is saying headers (pl). Last I checked it was a singular header on a 2.0/2.5.
