Default Innovate LM-2 RPM input

So I just bought an Innovate LM-2 wideband kit, and it comes with this analog RPM input cable. What it does not come with is the hand-holding I need to figure out how to hook this up to my '06 WRX.

Anybody have experience with this or know of a how-to guide they could point me to?

Thanks

You are looking for engine speed output which you should be able to tap into one of the connectors from the ecu for.

Check out a factory service manual and look in the diagnostics sections for connector and terminal number of the "Engine Speed Output"

All right, I'll check the ECU pinouts ASAP. I believe that I have read that the LM-2 can interpret the ECU engine speed out.

How would you suggest I tap it to leave the ECU in the most like-stock state possible?

Thanks for the help!
