crapiest car I ever owned? hmm

I have a car, tranny (5 spd) went out twice in 6 months. The car was a year and a half old. The dealer weazeled out of the warrantee both times. I have since gotten rid of it.

Can you guess the car?

Sounds like you had a car like mine. I only had one tranny replaced but of course no dealer help.

Worst car i ever owned was a 65 Chevy 2 Nova 4 door. Sweet car really. Only 45,xxx orginal miles. Almost mint inside and out, however car wouldnt run more then a week or 2 at a time without having a different problem. I cant really blame the car though. It was my first car i drove the balls off of it after sitting pampered for years. I miss that car.

Now i am an OLD Guy.. a few years back i bought a AWD Merc Topaz......wife said don't do it.. I said great commuter snow car....paid waaaaaay too much for it....POS and have very bad memories about it.. revenge was sweet though....It was done....no coolant in my driveway... fired it up floored it till it died a horrible death...amazed how long it ran on it's rev limiter.....hahahahahaha. Next was a Ford Taurus. nice one owner granny car.....low miles and clean.. Oh i thought lets put some Lucas oil stabilizer in it....to make it last.............spun a rod bearing just starting it in the driveway....paid 2,500 and got 250.00 at pick n' Pull..should have heard it knocking as i parked it there hahahahaha.
Now to 2008-10 My WRX 06 gets 5-30 Syn and thats it....runs and drives as new at 42K
Live and learn eh' Do i win a prize for stupidity ????

1980 Chevy suburban 2wd. Had a 350 with no power at all. The heat didnt work and neither did the AC. It had power windows and power door locks that didnt work as well. The windows were all stuck down and i had a shove a wedge in the windows just to keep them up. The headliner was also taken out so when the car got really cold and heated up the condensation would drip everywhere all over. Oh yes it also got only 8mpg with a 40 gallon tank. I was sooo happy when that car was gone.

A 1970 nova 2 dr the guy wanted $50 but I had to move it today or the service station was going to put a lean on it they wanted there money. I went to look at it at a service station were it was at. The drivers rear qt panel had been fixed with bondo and was about 2 inches wider when you looked at it from behind, but from the side could not tell. I said its been hit on this side I will pass. He said how about $30 but the radiator is bad. I said ok. He said he owed the shop $22, but he did not have any money. I paid the station $22 an ask would it be ok if I picked it up tomorrow he said ok. So I gave the guy $8 he gave me the title. The floors were rusted 6 cylinder 2 speed check the gas an fill it with oil. God I loved that hunk of junk.

1985 Dodge Charger
It had a 3-speed automatic that needed to be shifted to N then back to D in order for it to find 3rd. Didn't have enough power to make it up a hill without flooring it a 1/4 mile before the hill. It backfired through the caburetor one time and blew the butterfly into thin air. The head gasket was oozing a tar like substance when I finally got rid of it.
