Make sure it has a resonator and a resonated muffler and you'll be set. I have no cats and I have never been pulled over for noise (or any reason).

well i'm more interested in a single tip catback.

yeah i'm looking for the tilt type exhaust. but one that doesn't look like it's tilted so much you can see the whole side of it.

I suggest not using a silencer.

The Cobb is a nice exhaust as its quite just driving around, but is nice and deep when you get on it. Allot of people dont want the exhaust to drone in the cabin when they are just driving from point A to point B.
If you want something a little louder, the Invida G200 and the HKS Hi-Power are both very nice, and are also both reasonably priced. The HKS Carbon Ti is similar to the Hi-Power in performance, fit, and quality. But it has a carbon wrap and a Ti tip. But is the same basic exhaust.

That's my car in the video. At cruise the Cobb is very well behaved. As pointed out though, it gets more throaty the more you get on the gas. This was a great fit for me since I commute the car ~30 miles each day and appreciate some freeway manners.

SPT is always a good option and I'm sure you can find one used within your budget. I have a full TBE exhaust FS, but it's kinda loud in cabin.

RSD helped me out when I bought my Invidia DP and Fujitsubo catback.
I love mine, but that's close to $1k...
