Default LHD Turbo Impreza's?

Were there any Impreza turbos in LHD form ever mad in the GC8 Chassis? I think Germany drives on the correct sied of the road but I'm not sure. Anyway I decided to drop the turbo 2.5 route and go with a front clip.

Word from a veteran, get your asbestos undies on now before the flames start.

The EJ20 turbo from either LHD or RHD will drop right in, and there are several threads on doing an EJ20 turbo swap.

Ben - I think there are less then 10 countries in the world that drive on the wrong (read: left) side of the road. Pick a European country and you're almost assuredly driving on the correct side of the road.

actually, of all the countries Ive been to, The US and Mexico are the only ones on the right hand side ( of the street, LHD cars)
South East Asia, all RHD, Aussie etc, England, Italy, etc etc etc...
But there are still a few countries that are the same way as ours.

Well I am looking for a LHD clip b/c at that point everything is literally drop in and go ( read No re routing wires) and yes Neal I am considering going to the darkside B/C of
1: Reliability. Everything would be factory
2: Horsepower. I know I could make the same power on a 2.5 but see rule #1
3: Afterrmarket. a turbo 2.0 has been around for how many years? There is a large aftmarket following in other parts of the world.
And yes I do love the torque of the 2.5 but at the power levels I am looking for I would be destroying trannies

Postwhore..

but I would like to say this. it is kinda a rant....
no one said you gotta have 500pounds of torque in 1st...you could run a boost controler and run low boost in 1-2 and in 3-4-5 have full boost. NO tranny snapping then..

8: sure I did. Where can I get a LHD front clip?
DrNick: Youre the post whore! Seriously though I would like to turbo the 2.5 but I know me and I would blow it up sky high

Well, a quick search of the net turned up a place that a WRX front clip can be had for $2500 - http://infinitemotorsports.net/JDM%2...C%20JDM.0.html
