Default How many times can you paint rims before it is not safe.

I'm sure it is not good for rims to be constantly repainted. So how many times can you paint it before it is not safe? I also ask this because I know Nasioc'r love to rattlecan and powdercoat their wheels.

no need to be a smart***, they obviously posted in the wrong forum, on accident or not, no need to point that out, you can just let them know nicely without the smart remark

to the OP, my friend has repainted his rotas at least 5 different times and they are still good as new, so technically im not sure, but if you do it properly each time and dont have an ocd about changing your wheel colors you shouldnt have to worry about it

How would painting them change the structural integrity of the metal?

Well if you sand it down past the paint to get it to bare metal again sometimes you might not see it but you sand a little too much and with that said you basically changed the integrity of the wheels are the weight can be effected.
