Default AMS 750R Turbo Kit Results on 08 STI with E85. 517hp 493tq SAE

You heard right! After using this vehicle to get the fitment sorted out for the newer Subarus, it was finally time to get it on the dyno. In short, I am very impressed with the results, both on pump gas and on E85. This turbo is a big step up from the 30R with very minimal losses in spool up time. For the amount of modifications done to this car I believe these are great results. The motor is completely stock, and I didn't really want to push it any more than I already had (plus it is out of injector). When the car is cruising around in 'S' mode it makes about 470whp, but a change to 'S#' kicks it up the numbers below.

The whole mod list:

AMS Subaru STI 750R Turbo Kit.
AMS 2008 Subaru Front Mount intercooler kit with 3.0" piping
Blow-thru MAF
Detschwerks Subaru top feed 1000cc injectors
Walbro Inline Fuel Pump 255 lph
TGV deletes
MadDad Catback exhaust
Grimmspeed ported header
Grimmspeed BCS

E85, 31psi

93oct, 21 psi

What turbo is this? Is it larger than a 35R? What is the IDC on E85? And what elevation is this car tuned?

It's an AMS 750R turbo. It flows more air than a 30R and less than a 35R. It has a billet compressor wheel, and spools very similarly to the 30R.

IDC's are 99%

Elevation here in IL is about 600ft.

Standard correction the car made 531whp
Uncorrected numbers are 527whp

4th or 5th gear pulls? Could you do me a favor and do a pull in 3rd?

The graph is amazing, better than my TD04 on a 2.0L at 3000 rpm. I'm going to have to swap in a 2.5L.

Thanks for the 1 through 4. It really helps me decide on what turbo setup I should aim for once I get the 2.5L.
