I think most of the sedan have their passenger windows which cannot go "all" the way down. This is normal. I think it is because of the size of the passenger window is bigger than the space where it hides in door; or the shape of the window does not allow it completely hides into door. So, there will be an inch or 2 or even 3 when it is all the way down.
Am I answering your question?
Don't know if I am right or not.

Have you installed aftermarket front speakers? the window might be stopping on the speaker magnet?

It is normal: at least on a 2000 RS sedan, the back windows leave a good 5" showing- don't think there is any way to make them go down all the way. I have seen a lot of cars that do this.

I believe he is referring to the passenger side front window. It should go down just as much as the driver side. The dealer just needs to adjust/fix it and it will be OK. My driver side went up too high and broke the seal around the mirror and they fixed it under warranty. So I would call them ASAP.

thanks, everyone!!

i think "aus112" is the one know what i'm talking about!!! that's it!!!!
and would u guys recommend to buy the extended warranty???

cuz i bought my subie as a used car and it has about 29K(2000 sedan) on it. so....
when i bought the extended warranty, is it add up the year start from now on or start from 2000??? like 6yr/80K plan, which mean i only have 5.5yr/50K more warranty to go, or start from 30K????
i'm really confuse!!!

thanks!!!

Refering to the reply that I have posted, I was talking about the back passenger windows. Sorry if I have mixed people up. If your front passnger window can't go all the way down, I don't know what is the problem.
Hope that would help

Yeah, what au112 said. If it is a sedan and you are talking about the back windows, that is normal. If you are talking about the front passenger window, that is a problem that should be fixed, probably under warranty.

I have a 2001 sedan. My front pass window does go down all the way. And this is with aftermarket speakers in there, (with spacers though).

Warrenty? I don't know, If I had to guess, I would say it would go from the date the car was originally purchased.
