I didn't want to steal anyone's thunder so I'll let MaXxBoOsT tell his story. Let me just say he was killing the modded hondas. I was too chicken to run and I arrived late. Maybe next time with an MBC.

I did see Nano pull a 12.78 out of his ass. Nice run. He was up against Gregg's SS Camaro and beat him with the Zex. It looked real bad when Gregg's Camaro got beat by the Paul's Talon. I had to give him a hard time even though I would have been OWN3D.

Tusin was racing, too. That's all I can say. I feel bad to tell everyone's story so I'll leave that up to him.

There was plenty of Imports there and everyone had a speedy fast time.

Winslow

Marc's 95 Eclipse ran a 12.8x @ 108 with Allen driving it. Good run's guys! Too bad Kirby couldn't get his car into the 12's today . His car seems to have the most mph out of the 3 (Paul, Marc, Kirby) Ohhh well, maybe next weekend.

Nice to see Winslow and "some" of I-club could make it.

Yeah the track was awsome... I ranned a 13.1 @ 103mph with out the juice too. Unfortunately traction was horrible today. You guys missed the AWD burnout I did earlier . I'm glad so many of you made it there. It was a total blast.

fastest run was a 14.1 @ 93...i need a better or should i say smoother launch because my 60' times need to come down about a tenth of a second to around 1.8 or less...it was pretty cool...my first time ever running at the races...i'll get more mods now and see how low i can go! i'll post the slip later...to lazy to scan it right now!

Tusin, why you gotta be clownin, yo? Let's hear your 60 foot times! I think that Jetta would give the WRX a run for it's money if you had a few more mods.

lol, I wasnt clowin G-Skillit yo (Still got the Icy Hot Stunnaz in my Brain). I was clownin on myself. And what other mods would you say I would need to do? The only other "power" mod that I can think of without getting a new turbo is the rest of the exhaust.

And I still have no Comment about my 60's!

What was the times for everyone then including the AKDSM folks too. What about the times for all the Hondas out there with engine swaps (WRX Killers)? Any fast streetcars there worth mentioning other than the usual dumbestic V-8's? I missed going out there due to Mother's Day and I didn't want to see the sequel of "Wrath of Mom" and "Attack of the Killer Girlfriend." Maybe next time.

I didnt really see anything out there that put me in awe. Some of the DSM runs were sick! Lining up against some of the domestic dragsters and winning, that was crazy. One thing that was wild, was I lined up against a Domestic Dragster (Tottaly forget what make/model etc...) but a older trick V8. All I know is right after the 1/4mile line, parts started to fly out of the bottem of his car. I first thought he ran over somthing, but then he pulled over to the side of the track and started smoking really bad.

I was talking to a guy out there, and he was telling me that this comming up Saturday ARP is doing a "Cool Cruz, and Car Show". He was saying they meet up at Northway Mall around 9am or so, and then Cruz out to ARP and race for free. Dont really know exactlly whats up with that, but I am going to call ARP and get some more details.

Free Drags!!! Cancel the Subaru meet.

Blacknight, you gotta get the VR6 out there to show Tusin what's up.

I cant believe they have a link posted to the "ICY HOT POLESMOKERS!" on their site.

The DSM's were all running fast. With the Honda's bringing up the rear. Ilir has some really good video footage and I think he is going to post it. Nano vs Gregg is a good one.

Ilir better not post my runs, lol. Dammit! Ohhh well its all good. Just will take alot more practice (But at least now I know what to start doing). I really do think I was just dropping the clutch even tho I thought I was slipping it. Live and Learn.

But yeh Blackknight, need a some more Dub reprensentation (I really cant spell, dammit!). I did have quite a few people come up to my car and check it out. Surprisingly a few older guys checked it out and complemented me. Well 4 if you include Winslow (Ah ha, I gots jokes!).

But yeh if it actully is Free Drags that would be pretty cool. I will try to give them a buzz tommrorw and get all the details, and post it up on here.

Thats kind of funny, because now all I think is damn if I would have bought a WRX I wouldnt be pulling 2.70 60's. And if I didnt I shouldnt own a car, lol.

But then again, I still love my Dub. And with some more advice, and more practice, I will get my 2.1-2.2 60's and my 13second 1/4.
That is my goal, just to hit 13's. As soon as I do that, I am done with the power aspect of my car.

Yeh dude, I showed you. My worst run I had a 2.761 60'. **** my best run I had a crappy 2.45 60'. But I think the main bulk of that is like I said, as soon as I got wheel hop I would shift, instead of riding first gear out till red-line. **** man, you have never dirvin my car untill today and you would have gotten a better time then me, lol.

I knew what your times were. I was just trying to get YOU to tell everyone what they were.

You and KapaFool should switch cars. He slips the clutch too much and you don't slip it at all.

Congrats to marc and paul. Managed to get marc's car into the 12's 12.78@ 107, Paul's car did real good, he was really wanting to get the Auto into the 12's on just the turbo with no Spray..

The run between gregg and paul was kick ass. Gregg's car runs some big mph 12.7@112mph. Gregg is my buddy, I rode up with him and that car gets really stupid in 4th gear and just pulls to the roof. He was on street tires spinning through 1-2. He should run 12.4's once he gets his nitto's back.

Saw max boost run his car, im sure the ET's will drop once you get the 60ft and the 1-2 shift down. 60ft will make or brake an awd car as we all know.

Couple of other guys out there with 93-94 Talon went 13.4 and 13.5.

Talked to winslow for a while and met some of the I-club members including Tusin. Congrats on the honda slayin hahaha

SHOULD BE AN INTERESTING YEAR!!!!

I NEED MY CAR!!!!!

The "Kool Kruize" is Saturday, so we would have to reschedule the car-show...sounds like bad planniing.

It was pretty cool last year, not only do you get to do free runs on the drag strip, but when they give you your time slip, last year they gave coupons for free runs later on.

Too many events, not enough time.

I wish I could have been at the drags too, but I had to miss the movies that Kapafool mentioned above as well.

Dang Tusin, i would have thought with all that tourqe you would be doing better 60 foot times then that. I got a 2.2 on my Eagle GA tires, but the VR6 does hook up real good off the line. I just need to get some power mods so I can bring down my 1/4 mile time. I would love to hit 13.4 - 13.8. Thats a sec off my current time. I think I might go with the CAMs and Z SC next summer if the funds are there (donations welcome )

I Planned on doing the Kool Cruz, but i didn't think that we would get free runs. If so i'm there next weekend without a dought
