Default Question about the Verizon Wireless Bb Tour + Netbook promotion

I upgraded my Curve to the new Tour this weekend and got suckered into the Netbook promotion. So, now I'm sitting here typing on a laptop the size of a DVD case and realized I'm wasting $60/mo. on this 5gb/mo. access plan.

Is it possible to walk back into Verizon, cancel my monthly data plan for this Netbook, and still be able to keep it? It's pretty handy to have and I'd prefer not to give it back to Verizon, those bastards.

I'm sure the price of the Netbook wasn't subsidized by the monthly service payments. I think I'll just saunter on down to the AT&T store and let them know that I'll be keeping the iPhone, but I'd appreciate if they'd cancel my service.

You should have received a contract with the terms when you picked it up.

All I can gather from the contract is that I have 30 days from the purchase date before getting hit by the early termination fee.

Simple. Use your new Tour, go to browser and look up Verizon customer service number. Then from your tour place call to customer service and ask. You get to watch your Sopranos marathon and you get your question answered, all without leaving your seat.

Have you ever dealt with Verizon customer service? I'd rather put up with the guaranteed douche bag responses from starting a thread in OT asking a simple question.
