Default Winterize help

Coming from back east where it snows maybe twice a year (2 inches and the state shuts down), do you guys have recommendations for winterizing my new 2009 WRX?

I plan on getting a nice base of wax on the car this week and hopefully some winter/snow tires, but do you all recommend anything else?

Thanks in advance.

New wiper blades if needed. Fill/top off windshield washer spray with good winter fluid. Double check radiator fluid but on a 2009 it should be fine. Maybe swap in some rubber floor mats. Snow tires or good all seasons for sure.

One of the best things about a wrx is how it drives in the snow! A good set of snow tires and your good to go!

/\ This. The only three things you NEED. Wiper blades are also a good idea.

If you plan on playing in deep stuff, or off roading at all, I would get a collapsible shovel/blanket. Now that I think of it, a good blanket is probably a good idea for EVERYONE on the road in the winter.

Enjoy your car in the show here man. Much different than the East Coast...
