I did 173mph once while working for AMG Merceded-Benz in a pre-production SL55AMG......NOT RECOMMENDED!!! I recall we were climbing steadily up the banking of an oval (after carrying way too much speed from the main straight), huge pucker factor. Someone was screaming...it may have ben me.
