Okay, here's the deal. I've pretty much maxed out my current system. Here's the specs:

Custom turbo kit
GT25BB turbo
Rallispec top mount IC
Unichip
additional 550cc inj. on IC controlled by Unichip
9:1 JE pistons
Pauter rods
Cobb street cams

I have just about every other "little" thing. Please ask any Q's if you think I might be missing something.

With this setup I get 203.3whp@5500 RPM and 208.4ft./lbs.@4750 RPM. No race gas or octane booster. This is what I drive to work.

I'm getting close to the end of the turbo's efficincy range, as with the intercooler. The Unichip has also reached its limits. So, I ask you what's next. Let me first say that I will not replace the tranny untill it goes. So don't recommend a dog box or anything. I'll worry about that later. Let me hear your opinions. If you have any questions, ask away.

With that much power at the moment, it's screamingly obvious that you need to replace the Unichip piggy-back with a real engine mangement system before you do anything to the turbo....

Then comes a bigger turbo, then a front-mount I/C... And trade turbo lag for top-end power.

How much boost are you running on a daily basis?

The TMIC will be obviously need to be replaced, though I am not certain of your horsepower goals. If you are wanting even more power out of the car, then you will need more effective items, such as the front mount and larger turbo. As for real engine management, something like the Link 2, which a few here on the board and soon myself will be running is a great choice. Its got nearly all the functions you need to tune the car for serious power, at almost half the price of a TEC-II.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the extra injector on the TB or intercooler, but rather lager injectors in place of the stock ones. I just like to maintain a stock like setup without having to get too much into extra controls like the extra injector.

What would be your horsepower goals?

Actually, I have been doing some research on engine mgmt. I don't know a whole lot when it comes to tuning, but I am very interested in learning. I do think the Link2 is going to be the way to go. My Boost now is at 9psi, raises to 11/12 mid range RPM, and falls back to 9 near redline. Does the Link2 control boost? I guess I'll do some searchs and find out some more info on the Link2.

it sounds like with engine management you could tune a good amount more horses out of the car...
I know this isn't what your topic is about but I am trying ot get a feel for your kit...So your running stock injectors and then one 550 to make up for the lack of fuel @ boost? Safety wise have you done the parell fuel rail mod? Do you have any way to retard detonation?

Well, your right the Link does seem like the way to go. Boost control is optional, all it is is an extra solenoid you can get with the kit.

There was great thread on it here just recently, on top of Impreza Riders thread about his Link 2 happenings.

Neal- The Unichip pulls timing. I have not done any kind of parallel fuel rail mod.

I say a bigger turbo first and either a bigger TMIC or just get a FMIC . after installing these , hook up the wide band at trey's and see what's going on there , you'll defenitely have to replace your injectors.
