Must have been a PIA getting the wiring squared up, props man I'd love to see it in person. Do you have any other interior plans or accent plans?

You can ask BBC where that 05 shift knob came from.

If he even remembers.

What a sleeper! I got my first n/a legacy outback in october '08, but wish I shopped around a little more.... I love these baby outbacks. Especially with the swapped out motor, doubt many of us can afford to do that though!

Door rattles? If thats all you have... your in good shape. I have long given up on my list of rattles and strange noises, I just accept them now.
Good work! Your car almost brought tears to my eyes.

I had dreams of doing an STI drivetrain + interior swap to my '97 OBS-T, but figured fighting the rattles, rust (front + rear fenders, roof, most suspension bits), wind noise, and sandblasted windshield from 10+ years of New England winters would be a losing battle. I'm happy to see that you've been able to make it work.

So I was at the Virginia Zoo this weekend. I was walking to the ticket counter and see an OBS with STi rims. So I go to have a closer look. My wife was

This car looked exactly like the one in the pictures. It had a late model STi steering wheel, but was an automatic trans. If this car was a swap, it was done as clean and professional as possible.

Was this your car? Do you work at the Zoo? If so, I really dig your car. Nothing on the outside to say, "I have a ton of power and will walk your Mustang". But, for the folks in the know, we know we are in the presence of greatness.

Wow, first time I visit the main page in over 3 years and I find this! From one OBS owner to another, way to go man! Glad to see someone else keeping that bumper too.

My top spoiler arrives tomorrow, thanks for saving me the trouble of going to the dealer just to get stupid looks. Guess I'll just go ahead with the 3M route too..... this is what you need:

3M Acrylic Plus Tape

Found at your local auto paint store, everyone recommends either the PT 1100 or PT 1500, think I'm going with 1500.

+100.

10 out of 10, IMO. I'd rather have this car than an 04/05 STi ANY day.

Cleanest full-swap I've seen to date!

I love that the only real clues to its ability are the BBS and exhaust.

Your average schnook won't know what hit them.

WONDERFULLY done, and "tastefully stealthy."

so clean. Engine and tranny swap is great and all but dash and other interior components take it to the next level.
