Default FS: 2002 WRX 2.0l engine only $700

The engine is still currently in my car. it has 150k miles on it but is in amazing shape. nothing wrong with it just have a oprotinity for a jdm motor. ill leave it in until someone buys it so they can hear it run. it will come with the complete motor, intake manifold, and turbo. i can probably come up with a crossmember ecu and harness is someone wants to throw it in GC. make an offer. it was in a car that was stock until 140k miles. when i got it i went stage 2 with it and it has never seen more then 17psi since then. the previous owner was an adult who drove 100miles a day for work on the highway.

Read carefully above.

And no Rokkit we want no credit for anything to do with that car. Especially the tune which is making the oil smell of fuel.

I should say though, for the topic at hand, that the OP's engine, while the above mentioned was noted, sounded healthy when I saw the car a few weeks ago.

Is that how it works now? Interesting..

Back when I got my swap, I paid ECS/Paul $200 for my tune, all I got was just an increase in Boost, no timing or AFR's. Thats not fair...

lol

There's really no reason to bash tuners....theres over a million tuning shops around that would be happy to work with you and your car....i understand if someone is spending a good portion of money to get a tune, they should recieve what they paid for...ECS has many loyal customers that i personally know and have talked too with no issues what-so-ever....if you think paul just "pulls timing" and "turns up the boost" then why wouldnt you question him while your car is on the dyno and its your money and time? If you think you got a tune that would put your motor on the edge of blowing up then why would you keep driving it???? ECS is a good place with good people....if you dont think so, find another tuner

I don't think Paul does the "tuning" that way. He spends hours on dynos, I know he spent over 9 hours on one car and didn't charge extra for a tune. He also tuned my friends WRX with a VF34, still pulling strong, and it's been over a year.

As for Unforgiven's engine, I heard it in person about a month ago, (he did my 4EAT to 5MT swap) and from what I seen/heard, it was healthy. GLWS Brian.
