Default txic, any good reputable shops to purchase engine rebuild parts from?

long story short, i was in a wreck back in mid-august. front end was messed up, and timing was thrown off either during the wreck or after when the shop was doing work.

insurance paid for an entire new long block in my car, and they are giving me the "old" engine out of my car.

my dad and i are doing to do a rebuild project on in. i have a wee bit of engine experience, my dad has LOTS. so its gonna be a fun thing for both of us as he has always been a chevy V8 kinda guy.

all car mod related money will probably get directed towards the engine build unless we get the thing tore down and its just horrid. id like to have the support of a txic shop to purchase engine internal parts from and get some phone assistance when necessary, if necessary.

ideas on shops anywhere in txic i can use?
