Default I think UPS "lost" my coilovers

So I have been keeping up with the tracking of the coilovers I ordered and it has not updated since 10/23/2009 but it still shows it is going to be delivered time on the 28th. But, UPS won't do anything till its been 24 hrs past the delivery date.

Here is the last log.....

HODGKINS, IL, US 10/23/2009 4:18 P.M. DEPARTURE SCAN

I'm hoping that the system was down so it didn't update, I'm really going to be mad if it "fell off the back of the truck."

I officially hate UPS after the last 3 week ordeal I've had with them declining to pay for damages done to 2 of the 4 BBS I sent to New York. The bastards dismantled the cardboard covering that I attached to each rim WITH ZIP TIES so that they were knicked and marred up when they got there.

I still love my Bro-in-law who is a driver for them in Ft. Worth though. Just the corporate crap. Refusing to pay up when someone CLEARLY mishandled them?! Hmm...

Hope your coilovers come in soon! I have also seen the "tracking" number not produce the greatest and most up to date "tracking". I'm sure their fine.

As a former FedEx package handler, this bit makes me laugh. If people only knew the kind of crap that goes on inside sort facilities...

UPS and FedEx don't care about damage claims or lost items. FedEx used to (and may still) have a department called "overgoods" that was based at the NSL sort facility where I worked. All of the hubs sent their damaged/undeliverable/whatever goods to overgoods. The items went in a trailer and sat in the yard for a month. After that time they were sold in lots to 3rd party companies. Those companies **ahemBukoos** turned around and sold the items they'd purchased to the public at below MSRP. So FedEx made money off the shipper, then again off of selling the damaged or "lost" item to a 3rd party company. It was profitable because they limit payouts on non-insured items at like $100 or something similar.

So CN -- buy insurance on everything of value you ship.

you can adjust how tight they are by a huge set screw that holds them together
