Default First annual Cincinnati All Wheel DRIVE, meet and cruise.

The idea of a local EVO meet was thrown out on EvoM.net, I'm a new owner and I want to meet more people who know and enjoy these cars, so here it is!

WHEN? Saturday November 14th
WHAT'S THE SCOOP? Come be a part of a fun filled day of networking and doing what we like to do best... DRIVE our cars.
WHO'S COMING? The floor is open to any AWD makes and models. I want to see some nice Subaru's!

We will meet at Willies Sports Bar in Covington Kentucky at approximately 10:30am. There are two large parking lots with plenty of parking available for us to convene.

Willies Sports Bar
401 Crescent Ave
Covington, KY 41011
map: http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&so...ed=0CA0QnwIwAA

We will depart from Willies at 11:30am SHARP. We will be taking some nice scenic roads down towards Walton Kentucky.

We will reach our lunch destination around 1pm (pack a snack if you're going to gripe about a late lunch). location will be announced shortly but will be located off of I-75 in the Walton area.

Our lunch location will be aware of our event and prepared for our arrival. This will help things move more smoothly so we aren't bombarding them on a regularly slow saturday afternoon.

We will hit the road at approximately 2:30pm and continue our journey through northern kentucky. This last leg of the cruise is the most fun and will meander up the west side of 75. We will arrive back at Willies at approximately 4:30pm.

Specific directions will be printed and distributed saturday morning.
I Recommend having a passenger with you to help navigate in case people become separated.

any further questions, don't hesitate to ask.
I hope to see everyone out there!

-Mark

i threw the idea out.
and got bitched out for even suggesting it.

depending on the success of this event we will be organizing a "DirtyGirl" cruise.
I'll have a sign up sheet for that at the DRIVE.

I think you'll see more Subaru people taking their cars off-road then Evo people. Most Evos are setup for tarmac and such.

Well I'm busy the day of your tarmac event anyway. But keep me in the loop on the dirty trip

Us Subaru people also tend to meet up whenever we have a good snow emergency. Since I work from home I'm usually out in it all day

Just put my Blizzaks on today. Man, totally different. 245/40/17 and they feel *softer* then the all-seasons on there before. Its actually a more pleasant ride. Definately doesn't feel as grippy but they are also brand new and still have the little mold tabs all over them, a few hundred miles should help them out some.

Can't wait for some snow!

3 days of rain., a week of rain the week before. It was too wet but still lots of fun. It dried out on a few seconds and was crazy in the STI at that point. I hit 50-60mph before the 1st turn (triple what we were doing that morning in the RS). Brand new winter tires were just sick in those conditions. It took off like crazy! But it did teach you alot about driving in conditions like that. It was surprising how you could setup for a turn really early and shave seconds off your lap. If you tried to run it like an AutoX your time was awful. You had to get sideways it was so mushy.
