If you're familiar with these old EF civics, as with all the other older Honda's, they rust like hell. This has no Honda rot. These cars are getting harder to find that aren't rusted to hell. The prices reflects the $3300 paid for the new motor and tranny. BTW, I'd like to have a 91 Si for $100.

im just telling you my story. not everyone can find good deals. i bought it, rocked it, and sold it.

my point is, if youre trying to get more money out of it from what you put in it, more power to it. i just will never buy another EF for more than 5-600 personally. even KBB keeps these cars valued higher than what i think they are worth.

sorry to thread jack, just stating my OPINION. good luck with your sale, and i hope you get what you are asking for. if you havent already, try posting on your local craigslist. itll go fast.

Point taken, but I'm not trying to sell for more than what I have in it. The new motor and tranny cost over $3300 and my price is $2000...I think that's a pretty good price considering that will car will last another 20 years...

Flexibility in the price?

I've been looking for a winter beater for awhile.
