Haven't decided yet. Probably an old Audi Quattro or maybe a 1st gen DSM. Failing that maybe an old RX7

Can't wait to get out there for a full season of snow.

I missed two snow events last year.

I was just looking through the local craigslist. several cheap tempos, taurus/sables, sentra's, even a couple subarus, etc. in there. All for low $$$.

Is Qwikevo bringing his black beauty out to play?

haha I just saw that a few minutes ago, was thinking about calling on it. I think I'd prefer something I wouldn't mind completely gutting and throwing away interior bits on, and I don't know if I would do that to that particular car.

I think alaskascca.com just links to the national rules at scca.com. I'm sure someone will chime in, but I remember only 4 classes locally:

S2 = stock 2wd
S4 = stock 4wd
M2 = modified 2wd
M4 = modified 4wd

Nationally, there is a middle prep level called Rally Prepared, which allows a few more mods over stock plus rally tires. In the interest of keeping site owners happy, our club does not allow true rally tires, so there isn't really an advantage to separating out the rally prepared prep level. Additionally, National classing splits the 2wd cars into FWD and RWD in both stock and rally prepared. We don't have the numbers to support it though.
